Why we chose the Eagle as our team icon:

In the process of searching for a logo, Laurel and Laurie wanted an icon to tie into the Early Bird theme. The goal for the logo was to represent the values of the team. The team captain, Beate, came up with an Eagle logo that was very inspiring. Laurel checked in with her dad who worked for a bird rescue center, and realized that the eagle would be a great logo. Her dad said,“Some birds are hard wired, to‘just do what they do’ in the wild, according to instinct” and other birds, such as the Eagle, “can learn.”
