• Encourage more women and girls to become involved in the sport of bicycle racing.
• Build strong relationships with our sponsors.
• Teach bike handling, fitness building, and racing skills to women and girls new to bike racing.
• Become a successful team of women who work well together, and remember to have fun!
• Make women's cycling a household term, and teach our sons and daughters what healthy living is all about.

Our Mission

The Early Bird Women’s Developmental Cycling Team is a team for women of all ages and cultural backgrounds, in the Northern California Area. This newly-formed team provides a place for female riders, new to the sport of bike racing, to develop and hone their racing skills in a cohesive team situation during their first year of road racing.
